Clarity When You're Feeling Stuck
Clarity When You're Feeling Stuck
Hi!
Feeling stuck? It is something that comes up a lot in our work, especially in a market like this.
I've noticed that feeling stuck usually comes down to one of two things:
🔎 Where It Comes From
Sadness comes from feeling like you have no options. That is why it feels like hopelessness.
Anxiety comes from having too many options and no clear priorities. That is what causes paralysis. Looking everywhere, going nowhere.
✅ A Simple Framework
Here is the approach I keep coming back to, whether it is for my own planning, our team, or our clients:
Combat sadness with knowledge: learn to improve your skills and problem-solving. And now, with AI, you can delegate a lot of the heavy lifting.
Combat anxiety with decisions: prioritize, cut paths off, and focus on what matters most.
The goal is to see the path that is actually available and worth pursuing.
💡 In Other Words
👉 Don't know? Learn.
👉 Know? Do.
👉 Doing? Keep going.
🏢 How This Applies to Us
For me, this mindset means reviewing our goals, prioritizing them, and staying laser-focused on working toward those goals while blocking out the rest.
Every few years, there is a new tool or trend that adds even more noise and competes for our attention and focus.
It is easy to get lost in overthinking, especially in times like these. I am reminding myself (and our team) to stay clear: Learn. Decide. Act. Repeat.
🎯 A Thought to Close
If you are feeling stuck this week on growth strategy, staffing, or just navigating this market, I hope this gives you a clear next step.
Let's keep moving forward.
Happy 4th of July! I hope you take this time to recharge and if you live in America to celebrate the land of opportunity.
Warmly,
-Michael
